Tien-Hsu Lee was born in Hsinchu, Taiwan, in 1971. He received the B.S. degree in 1993 from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan and the Ph.D. degree in 2000 from National Central University, Taiwan, both in electrical engineering.

From 2001-2004, he was a Post Dr. in Center for Communication System at National Central University, Taiwan. He is currently working for the National Science and Technology Program for Telecommunications. His current interests are in the area of image/video coding, error resilience techniques, and wireless network applications.
